Kathmandu: Indo-Pacific Commander recently engaged in a pivotal meeting with the Chief of the Army Staff (CAOS) of Nepal. The high-level encounter, aimed at fostering stronger ties between the two nations. The meeting covered a range of strategic topics, emphasizing the mutual interests and security concerns shared by the Indo-Pacific region and Nepal.
The Indo-Pacific Commander and the Nepal Army CAOS exchanged perspectives on regional stability, defense cooperation, and collaborative efforts to address common challenges. Commander Aquilino also paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel. During the meeting held at Sheetal Niwas, President Paudel expressed happiness about the friendly and cordial relations between Nepal and the US following the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
He shared that Nepal is committed to global peace and is proud to be the highest contributor to UN Peacekeeping, as stated in a press release issued by the Office of President Paudel.
