Kathmandu: Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringala, who is on a two-day visit to Nepal, has returned home on Friday evening.
After successfully completing his visit to Nepal, he left for New Delhi on a special flight on Friday evening. At the Tribhuvan International Airport, he was seen off by Foreign Secretary Bharatraj Poudyal and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra.
In-depth discussions were held on all aspects of Nepal-India relations with Shringala, who was busy in various meetings and consultations with Nepal’s top government officials throughout the day on Thursday. Discussions were held in a cordial atmosphere on issues of mutual interest including trade, transit, expansion of communication network, border problem solving, physical infrastructure, energy, agriculture, investment, culture, people-to-people contacts, fight against Corona epidemic and exchange of experiences.
On Friday, Secretary Shringala inaugurated three school buildings constructed in Gorkha with the help of the Government of India and handed them over to the municipality.
