Kathmandu: India and the United States have signed a landmark defense agreement on Tuesday.
The agreement, reached at a time when tensions between India and China have been rising for months since the Ladakh incident, has been taken seriously. According to the agreement, some sensitive satellite images, maps and other information related to defense will be exchanged between India and the United States.
According to the agreement, India will have access to information collected by the United States. It has also said that access to the information will make it easier to attack with missiles and drones. The agreement was reached after a two-plus-two meeting between the two countries on Tuesday. Analysts say India and the United States are trying to reduce Chinese influence by deepening defense cooperation.
