Home Ministry assures no strike will take place on Thursday

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Home Affairs has warned to take action against those involved in any unwanted activities during the strike organized by the Prachanda-Nepal-led Communist Party of Nepal on Thursday.

In addition, the ministry has urged the industrialists and businessmen to operate their businesses with confidence.

A statement issued by the Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry Chakra Bahadur Budha on Wednesday evening said, “the Ministry cordially requests all parties to respect the right of the citizen to enjoy theier right provided by the Constitution without any hindrance.”

In the press release, it is mentioned that necessary security arrangements will be made by the security forces so as not to allow any obstruction in the operation of industries, professions and businesses.

“The Ministry of Home Affairs urges all entrepreneurs, including transport entrepreneurs, to do their work with a confident and prior manner,” the statement said.
