Hollywood actor Leonardo appreciate Nepal for conserving wild tiger

Kathmandu: Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has congratulate Nepal for doubling the number of wild tigers this year.

Writing a status on Facebook on Saturday, he said that Nepal has fulfilled its promise to double the number of tigers in 2022 and called it exemplary.

He wrote, ‘Today marks a very special Global Tiger Day in this Year of the Tiger. Nepal Has announced that the country has achieved its global commitment, made in the 2010 year of the tiger, to double the country’s wild tiger population by 2022. Congrations to Nepal for this impressive milestone.’

Recently, Nepal has announced that the number of wild tiger has reached 355. There were 121 tigers in 2010 and increased to 355 in 12 years.

Actor DiCaprio called it an incredible achievement.
