Kathmandu: Himalaya Airlines has started Kathmandu-Kuwait flights as its eighth destination from Friday.
Airlines will operate Kathmandu-Kuwait flights every Friday and Kuwait-Kathmandu flights every Saturday.
Kuwait is an important destination especially for Nepalis who go for employment and business purposes.
An air service agreement was signed between Nepal and Kuwait in 2006. Himalaya Airlines has also become the first airline company in Nepal to directly connect Kathmandu with Kuwait.
Himalayan Airlines, which was established in 2014 as a joint venture with China, has 4 aircraft on its fleet.
