Heath pacemaker installed in the President’s body

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has a permanent pacemaker installed on his chest.

During the 72-hour regular monitoring, he was found to have a slow heartbeat, so a pacemaker was placed after a consultation with a specialist.

Tribhuvan University Institute of Medical Sciences, Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center, the executive director of the hospital.

President Paudel has been undergoing treatment at the hospital since June 16. The hospital said that his condition is now normal.
