Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health has written a letter to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to monitor hospitals and take action against those who have been charged more than prescribed for corona treatment.
According to a letter sent to Commerce Ministry by the Health Emergency Operations Center under the Ministry of Health and Population, the decision has been taken at a ministerial decision on Tuesday.
The government has set a daily limit of Rs 3,500 for general covid patients, Rs 7,000 for moderate and Rs 15,000 for critically ill patients.
The Ministry of Health has also asked Commerce Ministry to monitor all government hospitals and hospitals that have been made public to provide services through service agreements with the Ministry of Health.
