Health Ministry orders free treatment for Gen Z protest victims

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has directed all federal hospitals to provide free treatment to citizens injured during the Gen Z protests that erupted across the country today.

Health Minister Pradip Paudel issued a circular instructing hospitals to deliver immediate and cost-free care to the injured. The ministry also urged ambulance operators to ensure efficient and accessible services, particularly for transferring patients between hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley.

In addition, the MoHP appealed to doctors and healthcare workers nationwide to join efforts in providing timely treatment to those wounded in the demonstrations.
