Kathmandu: The government has withdrawn its decision of giving public holiday even on Sunday.
The cabinet meeting held on Monday decided not to grant weekly holiday on Sunday June 15.
Now, there will be a public holiday only on Saturday.
Earlier in April the cabinet meeting had decided to implement two-day public holiday on Saturday and Sunday adding extra working hour.
However, the government’s decision was criticized massively citing a problem with service delivery.
