Govt to vaccinate children in Kathmandu and Lalitpur

Kathmandu: Children of the age group of 12 to 17 in Kathmandu and Lalitpur will be vaccinated against Covid-19 from Tuesday. According to health officials, children will be able to go to school and get the Pfizer vaccine.

According to District Health Office Kathmandu the target is to vaccinate around 270,000 students in Kathmandu district.

The necessary materials including vaccination for 300,000 children would be sent to the vaccination centers. The office has given the responsibility to the local level to select the vaccination center.

Lalitpur has also decided to give Pfizer vaccine to children of all six local levels from Tuesday.

Some locals in Bhaktapur district have started vaccinating children since Sunday.
