Kathmandu: The government will provide Rs 500,000 to the runners-up Nepali football team.
A meeting of the cabinet held on Monday decided to provide Rs 5 lakh to the players and Rs 3 lakh to the coaches.
Nepal had reached the final for the first time in the SAAF championship held in Maldives. But Nepal lost 3-0 to India in the final.
The Nepali team returned to Nepal only on Monday.
