Govt to begin covid booster dose from Tuesday

Kathmandu: The government has decided to give booster dose of corona vaccine to people with weakened immune system from Tuesday.

The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that the vaccine will be given to those who have completed three months of immunization against corona.

Booster doses of the vaccine will be available to people with moderate to severe immunity, active cancer sufferers, organ transplant patients, HIV patients, and patients using immunosuppressive drugs during treatment.

Similarly, people in the age group of 60 years and above who have been vaccinated with Vero cell or Sinopharm vaccine will also be able to get booster dose, according to the Ministry of Health.
