Govt reduces fuel price

Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of fuel.

According to the corporation, the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs 3/3 per liter with effect from 12 midnight on Friday.

With the reduction in price, now per liter price of petrol will be 178 and per liter price of diesel/kerosene will be 175. Earlier, petrol price was Rs.181 and diesel/kerosene was Rs.178.

The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) sent a new list to the Nepal Oil Corporation on Friday after reducing the price of fuel.

The corporation, which has been in profit for the last five months, is still in huge profit after the new price. However, this time also, the corporation did not adjust the price according to the consumer price international market, showing the reason for the accumulated loss and outstanding debt of 19 billion.
