Govt preparing to allow migrant workers to invest in stock market

Kathmandu: The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) is preparing to allow people, who are in foreign employment, to invest in stock market of the country.

Chairman of the Board, Ramesh Kumar Hamal announced this planning while announcing the policy and program of the board for the financial year 2022/23.

Chairman Hamal said that Nepalis who have gone abroad for employment will arrange C-Asba so that they can invest in the stock market. This policy has been expected to facilitate the non-resident Nepalis as well.
