Kathmandu: The government has postponed a ‘booster’ vaccination campaign for senior citizens over 60 and the chronically ill.
The Ministry of Health and Population issued a statement on Tuesday stating that the program of giving an additional dose of the Covid-19 vaccine has been postponed.
“As it is important to provide the full amount of vaccine against COVID-19 to all the citizens as soon as possible, it is necessary to launch the national vaccination campaign at a fast pace,” the ministry stated in the statement.
