Kathmandu: The government has permission to teach Nepali curriculum abroad.
Government spokesperson Parbat Gurung informed that the decision was taken at a meeting of the cabinet on the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The Nepali community living abroad and organizations working for those communities were seeking permission to teach Nepali courses up to secondary level. Gurung said that the meeting approved the proposal of the ministry as per the same demand.
“It has been decided to give approval to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to give conditional permission to conduct education up to secondary level in schools registered and run according to the law of the country,” he said.
