Kathmandu: The government has issued a budget of Rs. 1793.83 billion for the coming Fiscal Year 2022/23.
Finance Minister Janardan Sharma presented the budget in Parliament on Sunday.
According to Finance Minister Sharma, Rs 753.40 billion has been allocated for recurrent expenditure and Rs 380.38 billion for capital expenditure in the upcoming fiscal year.
The government has set a target of Rs 1.24 trillion in revenue to mobilize resources this fiscal year. Raising 256 internal loans means that the government will take 55.46 billion foreign grants.
After that, a foreign loan of Rs 242.26 billion will be taken to meet the remaining resources, said Finance Minister Sharma.
