Govt increases petroleum prices

Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has again increased the price of petroleum products.

The selling price of petrol and diesel / kerosene has been increased by Rs 3 per liter.
Petrol has now reached Rs 139 per liter and diesel / kerosene Rs 122. The corporation has informed that the price of cooking gas has not been increased despite the loss.

The selling price of domestic aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 5 per liter to Rs 106 per liter.

Even after today’s price adjustment, there will be a loss of around Rs 1.88 billion in 15 days, the corporation said.
