Govt imposed smart lockdown in Kathmandu valley

Kathmandu: The government has issued an order regarding ‘smart lockdown’ in Kathmandu Valley. All the three district administration offices in the Valley have issued similar orders as the Corona infection is on the rise.

The order, which will come into force from midnight on Tuesday, has banned activities including public meetings, processions, and gatherings till the end of January.

The administration has said that such activities such as seminars, workshops and meetings should be conducted through virtual means. The administration has informed that only up to 25 people have to participate in the work which has to be done physically.

The administration has also decided to close the cinema hall, dance bar, rehearsal, dance hall, Gym, health club, and swimming pool till January 30. The administration has also ordered that the public places of worship should be filled with daily meditation and prayers till the aforementioned time period.

The administration has also decided not to carry more passengers than the seat capacity in public transport while vaccination card is mandatory to go to public places.
