Govt directs vendors not to advertise alcohol with pricelist

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has instructed tobacco companies to stop advertising their company’s name and price list at the point of sale of retail grocery stores, wholesale grocery stores, and other stores.

The ministry has directed not to put up any posters or billboards with the price list of cigarettes, bindis, gutka etc. which are pasted as advertisements and if they are pasted, they should be removed immediately.
