Govt decides to add Prithivi Jayanti and People’s War Day as public holiday on calendar

Kathmandu: The government has included the public holidays of Prithivi Jayanti and People’s War Day in the calendar itself.

Announcing the decision of the Council of Ministers, Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communications, Information and Technology Rekha Sharma on Friday informed that it has been decided to add the holidays of Prithivi Jayanti and People’s War Day.

Minister Sharma said that since the calendar of 2080 BS has been printed, the work of reviewing the public holidays to be given in the following years can be done by next year and it has been decided to give holidays.
