Kathmandu: The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply has continued the ban on 10 items that were banned from import with more strictness.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply published a notice in the Nepal Gazette informing that the ban has been continued until August 30.
According to the Nepal Gazette, the import ban on motorcycles above 150 cc and mobiles priced above $300 has been extended. Earlier, the import of motorcycles above 250 cc and mobile phones above $600 were banned to import.
Similarly, all types of toys, poker cards, color TVs larger than 32 inches are also on the ban list.
