Govt announces 3-month cleaning campaign at Pashupatinath temple

Kathmandu: The government is going to conduct a 3-month campaign to clean the Pashupatinath temple.

On Monday, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, while meeting with journalists at the Ministry, said that the Ministry is going to conduct a 3-month campaign to clean the Pashupatinath Temple.

He said that the Pashupati cleanliness campaign will start from next Saturday and he is going to conduct the campaign under his chairmanship along with all the employees under the ministry.

Speaking at the program, Minister Kirati also informed that a 5-member study committee has been formed under the coordination of Jagman Gurung for the establishment of Pashupati Hindu University.
