Govt allows for clinical trial of corona vaccine in Nepal

Kathmandu: The government has decided to allow clinical trials of the corona vaccine in Nepal.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed that the cabinet meeting on Wednesday has decided to allow the clinical trial of the vaccine.

The clinical trial of the vaccine will be conducted in collaboration with the International Vaccine Institute of Korea.

The vaccine will be tested at Nepalgunj Medical College and Dhulikhel Hospital in Banke.

The vaccination trial program could start from the second week of September after completing necessary documents and technical preparations.
