Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari has said that the war between Russia and Ukraine could lead to higher prices.
Addressing 67th annual programme of Nepal Rastra Bank, Governor Adhikari said that the external sector of the economy is under some pressure.
He also said that the NRB is taking policy initiatives to reduce the external pressure and also the pressure of foreign exchange reserves. Governor Adhikari said that the impact of covid has been lessening recently and the economy is also improving.
Stating that economic activity is increasing due to increased access to vaccines against corona, he said that there are signs of some improvement in the economy.
