Kathmandu: Today, the price of fine gold has soared to an unprecedented level, setting a new record in the market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold surged to Rs 150,000 per tola on Monday, marking a significant increase of Rs 300 from the previous day’s price of Rs 149,700 per tola.
Simultaneously, the price of worked gold also saw a corresponding rise, climbing to Rs 149,500 per tola from Rs 149,200 per tola on Sunday, reflecting the market’s bullish trend.
In contrast, the price of silver has remained stable, holding steady at Rs 1,785 per tola as reported by FENEGOSIDA.
The sudden surge in gold prices underscores growing investor interest amidst economic uncertainties, marking a pivotal moment in the precious metals market. Analysts anticipate continued volatility as global economic factors continue to influence commodity prices worldwide.
