Gold prices hit record high in domestic market

Kathmandu: On Sunday, gold prices reached an all-time high in the domestic market. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations reported that the price of fine gold has surged to NPR 152,600 per tola, marking a significant increase of NPR 3,000. This new figure sets a record for gold prices in Nepal.

Previously, the highest recorded gold price was on August 13, when it was set at NPR 150,800 per tola, reflecting a rise of NPR 2,100 from the day before.

In addition, silver prices also saw an increase on Sunday. The price of silver has risen by NPR 50 per tola, with the current trading rate at NPR 1,810 per tola.
