Gold price set record high price of Rs 116,000 per tola

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, on Friday, gold prices in Nepal reached an unprecedented level. The price for one tola of gold soared to a record-breaking Rs 116,000, marking a significant milestone.

The determination of gold prices was temporarily halted the previous week due to the Dashain festivities.

In contrast, silver prices have remained relatively stable, currently standing at Rs 1,400 per tola.

On the global front, the price of gold reached US$ 1986.87 per ounce on Friday, with silver also increasing to $22.89 per ounce.
