Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka will participate in the funeral ceremony of British Queen Elizabeth II.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed that Minister Khadka is sure to go to London to participate in the funeral ceremony to be held on September 19.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the government attaches great importance to her death as Britain is a close friend of Nepal and the Queen has visited here twice.
According to an official of the ministry, a high-level team of Nepal including the foreign minister is going to participate in the funeral ceremony to show respect for her love and goodwill towards Nepal and the protection of the Gorkha soldiers.
