Five-party alliance decides to hold local elections by mid-June

Kathmandu: The five-party ruling coalition has decided to hold local elections by mid-June.

Today’s second meeting of the top leaders of the five-party alliance held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar has decided to hold local elections by mid-June.

A meeting of leaders including Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, CPN-Unified Samajwadi Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav decided to hold the election by mid-june.
