Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has directed the Secretaries of the Government of Nepal to implement the budget for the new fiscal year 2080/81 within the stipulated time frame.
Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat gave this instruction to the secretaries of all the ministries of the Government of Nepal on Wednesday.
He directed to give priority to the implementation of the budget as per the deadline.
In the discussion, Minister Dr. Mahat directed to proceed with the contract process only for the projects that have already been DPR.
He also instructed the stakeholders to begin the preparation for the next fiscal year’s budget.
