Experts suggest 18 points to the Prime Minister to fight possible third wave of Corona

Kathmandu: The Nepal Institute of Public Health has given 18 points suggestions to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to tackle the possible third wave of coronavirus infection.

Suggesting to Prime Minister Deuba, the foundation has requested to appoint a person who has the capacity to respect and accept the suggestions and advice of all including political circles, civil society and health workers.

Suggestions include increasing the capacity of the health system, managing home and institutional isolation and quarantine, providing medicine and oxygen, arranging effective testing, and managing border traffic.

Similarly, it has been suggested to increase the monitoring of Corona with the active participation of women health volunteers and health workers.

The foundation suggests treating mental problems during corona epidemics, as well as heart, lung disease, stroke and diarrhea.

Doctors Mahesh Maskey, Kul Chandra Gautam, Rita Thapa, Badri Raj Pandey, Aruna Upreti, Shiv Kumar Rai, Chhatra Amatya, Sharad Vanta, Abhinav Vaidya, Sameer Dixit, Rajendra BC, Tirtha Rana, Lochana Shrestha, Vinjwala Shrestha, Rajni Shah and Narayan Subedi have signed the suggestions submitted to the PM.
