Emir of Qatar arrives Nepal

Kathmandu: Today marked the commencement of a significant diplomatic event as Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the esteemed Emir of the State of Qatar, arrived in Kathmandu for a two-day state visit. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and foster cooperation between the two nations.

Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, the Emir was warmly greeted by President Ram Chandra Paudel, underscoring the importance of the visit. President Paudel extended a gracious welcome, reflecting Nepal’s commitment to deepening relations with Qatar.

As part of the diplomatic itinerary, President Paudel is set to host a grand state banquet in honor of the visiting dignitary. This gesture symbolizes the hospitality and respect accorded to the Emir and signifies the cordial relationship between Nepal and Qatar.
