Kathmandu: The Election Commission has asked Balendra Sah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), for an explanation.
Candidates from various constituencies of Hamro Nepali Party have asked for an explanation about the propaganda that they have done through the Facebook page called ‘Jai Lauro’, citing that they have the support of Mayor Sah.
The Commission has sent a letter drawing attention to the continuous use of Sah’s picture and name as if he had any affiliation with the party when he was elected as an independent candidate for the mayor of the metropolitan city.
