Kathmandu: The Election Commission (EC) has deployed 19 teams to monitor the violation of election code of conduct.
Such teams will monitor the public meetings, workshops, conferences, conventions, banquets, distribution of money during the silence period and take immediate action.
The team would take immediate action and inform the commission even if false information, propaganda and hate speech were found on social media.
The silence period has started from Tuesday midnight and will remain till midnight on May 13.
