Kathmandu: An unexpected earthquake during the festive celebrations of Dashain has left locals and festival-goers in shock. On the morning, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Khari Village Development Committee in Dhading.
This seismic event resulted in the destruction of 20 houses and caused damage to an additional 75 houses in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-5, Kumaltari.
It has been reported that assessments of the earthquake’s impact are currently ongoing.
