Kathmandu: The District Court, Kathmandu, on Thursday ordered Durga Prasain and six others to be remanded in judicial custody on charges of inciting criminal activities during a violent protest in the Capital.
A single bench of Judge Dhruba Raj Karki issued the order in connection with the March 28 clashes at Tinkune, Kathmandu, where Prasain and others are accused of playing a key role in triggering the unrest.
In the same case, the court ordered the release of 32 other individuals on bail.
