Kathmandu: Health activist Dr. Govinda KC is currently battling corona virus infection. On Friday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the government will provide free treatment to Dr. KC for his treatment via his social networking site “Twitter”.

However, KC has refused his proposal. Instead of taking responsibility for the treatment of the individual who can do his own treatment, Dr. KC requested PM Oli to arrange free treatment for the common citizen.

“There are a lot of Corona infected poor and remote citizens, who need free treatment. A lot of them have not been able to get treatment yet,” KC said, “The government’s focus should be on the treatment of all the deprived citizens rather than on the treatment of individuals.”

He also urged to implement the agreements reached in his 19th Satyagraha as soon as possible. “If the repeated agreements will be been implemented, large government hospitals and medical colleges would have been built in all parts of the country, and the people there would have received quality, free and accessible health care for all diseases, including corona,” he said.
