Deputy speaker expresses dissatisfaction for not keeping their photos in Parliament

Kathmandu: Deputy Speaker Indira Rana has expressed her displeasure over not keeping the photo of the Deputy Speaker in the Parliament.

Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday on the occasion of the 65th Parliament Day, Rana expressed her displeasure over the fact that only the Speaker’s photo was kept in the Parliament of Nepal but not the Deputy Speaker’s photo.

Sharing her experience in Singapore she said that the parliament in Singapore used to have photos of all the former speakers and deputy speakers. However, Nepal lacks such policy. Thus, she stress on putting everyone’s photo in the Parliament.
