Kathmandu: The country has marked the seventh memorial day of the Gorkha earthquake today by organizing various programs.
A magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck Barpak in Gorkha district at 11:56 am on April 25, 2015.
The quake killed at least 9,000 people while more than eight lakh private houses were damaged and about one thousand five hundred cultural heritages were damaged.
The quake affected 14 districts Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Nuwakot, Dhading, Rasuwa, Gorkha, Makwanpur, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga.
