Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 3,122 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus, and another 28 have died.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,922 cases have been confirmed, including 3,032 in 9292 PCR tests and 90 in 786 antigen tests.
The death toll from the corona virus infection was 3,136 as of Saturday, according to the health ministry. But Sunday’s death toll rose to 3,164.
Currently, the number of active cases of corona virus has reached 19,382 across the country. Out of which 17,788 are in home isolation and 1594 are in institutional isolation.
As of Sunday, 252 people are being treated in the ICU and 65 in the ventilator. In the last 24 hours, 62 people under the age of nine and 278 people between the ages of 10 and 19 have been confirmed to have corona infection.
