Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 3,403 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,613 out of 11,839 PCR tests and 790 out of 4,999 antigen tests tested positive for 3,403 people.
As per the ministry, 2,104 people have been recovered while 42 people have died in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 993 people have been found infected in Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 711 were found infected in Kathmandu, 160 in Lalitpur and 122 in Bhaktapur. Currently, the number of active coronavirus infections in the country is 40,338.
