Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 1,760 people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,760 people have been infected, including 1,332 among 12,524 PCR tests and 428 among 4,320 antigen tests.
Of them, 495 are infected in Kathmandu Valley. According to the ministry, 360 people were found infected in Kathmandu, 72 in Lalitpur and 63 in Bhaktapur. While 1,220 people have been recovered, seven have died in the last 24 hours.
With the addition on Wednesday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 780,824. At the same time, the number of deaths in Nepal has reached 10,991 and 743,526 people have been infected.
According to the ministry, there are currently 26,307 active infected people across the country. Out of which 24,683 are in home isolation and 1,624 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 407 are being treated in the ICU and 129 in the ventilator.
