Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 12,338 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 44.87 percent or 12,338 people were confirmed to be infected with the corona virus out of the tested sample of 27,497 people, including PCR and antigen.
Of those confirmed infected today, 6,981 are from the Kathmandu Valley. Similarly, 649 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. Another four died of corona virus infection, the ministry said.
At present, 57,328 people are actively infected with the corona virus across the country. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, 234,214 people have been vaccinated against corona.
