Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Giri passed away at 9:30 pm on Saturday.
After returning from cancer treatment in Mumbai, India, Giri was admitted to Medicity Hospital, Nakhkhu in the due to health problems.
In the last few hours, the pneumonia was spreading and the organs of the body stopped working.
The Congress Parliamentary Party issued a statement and informed that he died at 9:30 pm on Saturday.
His body will be kept in the hospital premises from 9 am to 11 am today, for homage.
