Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi passes away

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi has passed away.

Joshi, who was undergoing treatment for a stroke at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu, died at 8:24 pm on Friday. As per the hospital, even his heart had stopped working since Friday morning. He died while continuing all treatment efforts, reads a statement issued by the hospital.
The hospital was treating him with the help of a ventilator from the very beginning after he was diagnosed with a stroke. Congress central member Joshi is also a former minister and former MP.
