Commercial flights to begin at Gautam Buddha Intl airport from May 16

Kathmandu: Commercial flights will start from Bhairahawa-based Gautam Buddha International Airport from May 16 next year.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has fixed the date of a commercial flight from Gautam Buddha International Airport for the upcoming Buddha Purnima.

The calibration flight will start from this airport on Friday. A Euro Thai Aircraft has arrived in Nepal from Thailand only on Thursday for a calibration flight.
