CDO of Kathmandu asked KMC and Hams Hospital for clarification

Kathmandu: The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has sought clarification from Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) and Hams Hospital.

Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli, said that an explanation was sought as it was learned that the hospital has charged more than the prescribed fee for the treatment of Corona.

The Chief District Officer has asked for an explanation after the fee details of the hospital became public through social media.

The daily fee list of up to Rs 30,000 from KMC and up to Rs 50,000 daily from Hams Hospital for the treatment of the infected was made public through social media.

The Ministry of Health, on the other hand, has made it a rule to charge a daily fee of up to Rs 15,000 in the ICU for the treatment of corona infections. Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Parajuli, said that action would be taken if any illegal fee was charged.
