Captain Lamichhane becomes first Nepali to take 50 wickets in T20 Internationals

Kathmandu: Nepali national cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane has set a record by taking one wicket in the match against Ireland on Saturday.

Sandeep, who took the wicket of George Dackrell of Ireland in today’s match, has completed 50 wickets in T20 International cricket. He became the first Nepali bowler to achieve this feat.

Karan KC is also close to 50 wickets in T20. Karan has taken 44 wickets in 33 games so far.

At the same time, Sandeep is the third fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in T20 International.
